FAQ about Time for YOU groups:
How do I find out more or book on to a Time for YOU group?
Click contact me , leave your details. Jo will then contact you to fix up a time to chat and tell you more about the group. Jo will then book you on to the group if you feel it is for you.
“I can only get my children distracted for an hour or so how will that work?”
You can stay on for as long as it is working. Some Mums some for the first half, then come and go a little in the second half as they attend to their children.
Are the Time for YOU groups free?
Yes thanks to the Rosa C19 Response Fund and the People’s Health Lottery. Priority booking is given to you if you are on means tested benefits – see list below. Please remember when booking on to let us know which benefits you receive.
“I’m not sure I can face new people at the moment, do you think it is for me?”
You aren’t alone in feeling like that, remember this is a place where you are welcome how ever you are. For each group we set up a private Facebook group so you can say ‘hi’ before you come together on the zoom. This can make it that bit easier to come on the first zoom and everyone so far has told us that it is not weird once you are on the call. The best thing is to click contact me and we can look at what will make it easier for you.
“Will it be a bunch of strangers, or cliques, how will that feel OK?”
The group is small. We will set up a Facebook group so everyone can introduce themselves first. Everyone who comes wants to be in a place where we are kind and non-judgemental with ourselves and others. And we will create a group agreement so we all know the same rules about confidentiality etc
“How do I protect other’s privacy?”
A pair of headphones means the group comes into your ears only and you can shut the screen if a family member comes nearby.
Are you in receipt of a means tested benefit? If so you get priority booking.
